About Jess: Equine Appraiser & Lifelong Horse Enthusiast

Born into the equestrian lifestyle, I’m an experienced horsewoman with a deep understanding of all-around performance horses. My passion for horses began early, spending over 10 years in 4-H competing in Horse Judging, Hippology, and Horse Bowl. I’ve also been actively showing horses at local, state, and national levels for over two decades.

After graduating from the University of Texas, my professional path led me to work as a legal assistant with various law firms. This “day job” has honed my analytical skills and attention to detail, which perfectly complement my “night job” as a certified equine appraiser. This unique blend allows me to combine my love for the law with my lifelong dedication to horses, providing thorough and legally sound appraisals.

I reside in Manor, Texas, where I share my home with my husband, our horses, and our dogs.

“Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to be picked up and laid down like a game of Solitaire. It is a grand passion.” —Ralph Waldo Emerson
